Yes, the entire church building is located on one floor at ground-level. Curb-side drop off at the main door is available. There are also two designated accessible parking spots near the rear door along the alley behind the building.
Wheelchairs are available for those who may need them.
Wesley UMC currently offers two worship opportunities each week: in the sanctuary and online via Youtube. Each has its own distinct flavor, depending on the medium, but all are rooted in celebrating God’s presence among us together.
Currently, we worship at 9:00 am Sunday mornings with fellowship time (Sabbath Cafe) following at 10:15 am.
It is more important that you are present than how you look. That said, you will see some suits and ties, but also jeans and a lot of business casual. Just be yourself and be comfortable. (Note: the weather in Wisconsin is varied, so please dress accordingly.)
Children are an important part of our worship and ministry together! For this reason, there is a time in the service (online and in-person) specifically for all God’s children. If your child feels comfortable participating, we would love to have them join us.
A nursery room is available for younger children. We also provide a weekly Sunday school program during the service that runs from September through May. Children are in worship up until the children’s time, after which they are dismissed to their Sunday school room.
Wesley UMC is located in the city of Marshfield, WI at the corner of E Third Street and S Maple Avenue, east of S Central Avenue and south of Highway 13/Veterans Parkway.
Parking is available along the street and across the way in the lots of nearby businesses. There are also four parking spaces located near the back door along the alley behind the building, two of which are designated accessible parking.
Although we no longer require masking for worship and other church activities, we respect the need for folks to practice greater precautions when it comes to COVID-19 (and other communicable diseases).
If you are experiencing COVID symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, stay home and do not attend in-person activities. Where possible, we will make an effort to include you in our online ministry opportunities.
If, after worshiping with us or participating in one of our in-person ministries, you begin to experience symptoms and/or test positive for COVID-19, contact Pastor Doug by phone at (715) 384-2292 or email [email protected].
Cancellations due to weather and/or COVID-19 are determined by our leadership team. Be sure to keep an eye on Facebook, our website, and the announcements for information about these changes.
